Over the last 15 years, I have held staff positions at the Foundation for Jewish Culture, the Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring, Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, and Jewish Voice for Peace, and have had the privilege of learning from, and collaborating with, a wide range artists, academics, and activists. In my roles at these organizations, as well as with my consulting clients, I have conceptualized and carried out events (conferences, performances, parties, and awards ceremonies) that range from annual multi-faceted international gatherings and a national NEH-funded lecture series to one-time cutting-edge concerts and galas, to a sold out Off-Broadway run.
I have extensive experience with all aspects of creating events, with individual donor, special event, and foundation fundraising, with implementing strategic systems, and with board development and training. In 2003 I earned a certificate from the inaugural class of the Arts Leadership Institute – a partnership of Columbia University’s Teachers College and the Arts and Business Council, and after working full time for nearly a decade I returned to school part time in 2007 and earned an MPA from the Wagner School of Public Service at NYU.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you to support your organization or project’s sustainability, effectiveness, and impact.
